Napiersport Ltd. is a small company who ensure that by contracting out manufacturing to reliable suppliers we are able to maintain control over the most vital elements of quality and costs enabling us to supply a well engineered product to our customers. Why a CORSE ? First, and we hope the most obvious, is that the thorough and integrated design puts us at the forefront of component car technology. By using the facilities and expertise at The Metropolitan University of Manchester, all important aspects of our design have been checked or tested by them so that you are assured of buying a safe, well engineered car. In the basic component set we are supplying the essential hardware to build a fairly accurate reproduction of the Stratos, incorporating mechanical design modifications to create an impressive car that will accommodate most drivers. With such a surprisingly large boot for its size the CORSE makes an ideal fast touring, all weather car for the enthusiast who likes to travel. Those wishing to compete in motor sport need look no further than the CORSE, a car that handles so well in 'on the limit' situations that you will likely find that those limits are considerably higher than any car you have previously driven, therefore giving you that edge over the opposition. A CORSE I fitted with a Honda V6 engine has been successfully campaigned in national rally events by Garry Midwinter, winning outright on several occasions, against such opposition as Cosworth 4x4's and Lancia Integrales. The same car, in the hands of Bernard Rooney competed in some of the Scottish Tarmac rounds, beating such cars as Group A Escort Cosworths. Napiersport Ltd. also offers a build service, including the supply and tuning of engines, which we will be pleased to quote for on request.
